나에겐 어린 시절부터 마음을 주고 받고 중곡동 길과 구의동 골목길을 함께 걸었던

친구가 있다. 고교 졸업하는 해에는 영정도 바닷가를 깔깔거리며 걸었다.

늘 열심히 살면서도 타인을 존중하며 겸손한 친구!


어느 날, 수화기 너머로 암이 재발됐다는 이야기를 들었다.

한참동안 흐르는 침묵...


어떻게 해야하나?

그 친구와 겨울바다를 보고 싶었다.

그리고 그 친구에게 내 마음을 전하고 싶었다.


부디, 아프지 말라고...

고귀한 매화처럼 아픔을 이겨내라고...


내 마음을 담아 시화를 제작했다.
