그 해 여름


무언가를 얻어도 상실이 될 수 있음을 깨달았던 스무살의 여름에는,

빨간 플라스틱 테이블 위 싸구려 안주와 쌓여가던 소주병이 있었고

주먹만한 동아리 방에서 조명 하나 켜두고는 서로의 불안을 감싸주던 밤도 있었다.



그 해 여름


할머니가 곡기를 다 끊고는 긴 잠에 빠졌다는 이야기를 듣고

얼굴이 벌게지도록 오르던 한라산이 있었고,

빨갛게 물든 하늘을 두고 뛰어들던 바다도 있었다.



또 그 해 여름


상실로 무언가를 얻을 수 있다고 깨달았던 스물 일곱의 여름에는,

어둡고 슬픈 구석을 지닌 입체의 사랑에 비로소 뛰어들 용기도 얻었다.



투명히도 불안했던 나의 여름에.
