차분하게 가득 채워지는 하루를 보내고 싶다.

늦은 여름을 보내게 되어 아쉽고 아프다.

분명한 사실은 가을은 반드시 온다는 것이다.



이유를 물었던 마음과

조급하게 밀어내야 했던 슬픔.



조금 이른 여름을 이국에서 맞이한 탓에 모든 일들에 시차가 있었다.

엉엉 울지 못하고 붙잡아 둔 마음을 고향에 돌아와 엄마의 품에서 터뜨렸다.



날 꼭 안아준 엄마는 아이스크림을 사주겠다며 차에 태웠다.

아프지 말라고 아파도 깊어지지 말라고.

희고 달콤한 아이스크림을 손에 하나씩 쥐고 우리는 집으로 돌아왔다.
